Despite the absence of these players, Julie Allison took the game by the scruff of the neck and scored Ballymoney's first goal five minutes into the game with a fine solo effort, neatly finished off with a reverse stick strike.

The initial strike from Julie Nelson was deflected in by Nikki Parke leaving the keeper no chance.
Ballymoney continued to pile on the pressure with Omagh not having much in reply. Angie Huey made good use of space up the right hand side. Good linking play with Nikki Parke lead to the third goal when Angie found Julie Allison at the top of the circle.
Julie then beat two defenders and coolly sloted the home in the net to claim her second goal of the day.

Hide AdTwo minutes before half time Julie Allison then turned provider with good work in the middle of the pitch and found Nikki Parke out wide. Nikki found her way into the circle and fired the ball passed the keeper.
The second half took up where the first half ended and it only took Julie two minutes this time to find the net and claim her hat trick!
Not to be out done, Nikki Parke claimed her hat trick only two minutes later finishing of a short corner routine.
Ballymoney kept Omagh in their own half for much of the second half and they rarely caused a threat.

Hide AdHowever a lapse in concentration allowed Omagh to pull a goal back mid way through the second half. Only minutes later Captain Susie Martin got her name on the score sheet to finish the scoring at 7-1.
Ballymoney now face Pegasus in the quarter final of the Plate.
But before that they play Harlequins at home on Wednesday evening at 7.45pm and head to Randalstown on Saturday.
