Bus substitutions to operate during Larne line works
and live on Freeview channel 276
The line will close once the final train passes through on the night of March 5/6, re-opening before the first train on Monday, March 8.
This work follows initial repairs on culverts on the line during August 2020.

Hide AdIn a statement Translink said: “Bus substitutions will be in place between Carrickfergus and Larne Harbour throughout the weekend; passengers undertaking essential travel are asked to plan their journeys in advance and to allow extra time for their journey.
“The train timetable will operate as normal between Great Victoria Street and Carrickfergus throughout.
“Work during the weekend closures will be undertaken during both daytime and night-time hours.
“Every effort will be made to keep any noise and disruption to a minimum at all times; work will also be carried out according to current government and industry guidance on social distancing to ensure the protection of staff and the community.”
