Councillor thanks electoral office

PUP Causeway Coast and Glens councillor Russell Watton has thanked the Electoral Office following last week's registration event in Coleraine Library.

The Coleraine man said: “This was a highly successful event.

“114 people availed of the opportunity to register.

“The huge disillusionment with the political process amongst ordinary working people, particularly in the Unionist community, must be focused upon and rectified.

“For once let us put people before politics and country before party,” said the councillor.
